Kat Colla is a movement specialist, yoga and Pilates teacher, and bodyworker dedicated to guiding students toward balance, strength, and self-connection. With a deep passion for helping individuals move and feel their best, she blends movement, breath, and mindful touch to create experiences that are both restorative and empowering.

Having taught in New York, Boston, Vancouver, and Los Angeles, Kat’s classes are informed by a rich tapestry of teachers and traditions. Her work draws from B.K.S., the unique method of Katonah Yoga, and the intelligent sequencing of Schuyler Grant. Known for her sequence-driven, intuitive, and heartfelt teaching style, Kat creates sessions that feel organic and transformative, allowing practitioners to connect with their bodies, breath, and inner selves.

Kat’s specialty lies in one-on-one prenatal bodywork and yoga sessions for women in their second, third, and fourth trimesters. These sessions help mothers-to-be relieve tension and discomfort, foster self-nurturing, and cultivate a deep connection between body and mind during pregnancy. She has also recently expanded her work in Mat Pilates, a growing passion that brings functional movement, strength, and alignment into her teaching in exciting new ways.

Over the years, Kat has facilitated more than fifteen international retreats and consulted for multimillion-dollar companies on the value of community and collective well-being.

Based in Santa Monica, Kat teaches public classes at Love Yoga in Venice, Equinox, Bay Club, and Solen, and offers private sessions both in-person and online..
